Shipping volume growth up by a record 57%

This article explains how North America is largely responsible for the global shortage of containers. A very interesting fact is that comparing March 2021’s figure to the pre-pandemic March 2019, the shipping volume growth is up by a record 57%. That is a huge increase and no surprise the world's ports and shipping lines are not coping with their increased volumes.
